    The Kingdom of Ventus has a very well established line of Kings and Queens who rule from the High Place which sits upon the only true mountain in the Kingdom. Surrounding the current King of Ventus, Nicolas Regan, are members of the Ventus Brotherhood. For the past two ages, families have been sending their firstborn children to be trained with the Brotherhood for it is these Brothers (both men and women) that serve as guards and in place of any standing army. Essentially assassins that move with the wind, not all survive their rigorous training process but those that do are deadly and protect their true secret til death -- that they are the Loners that have come so close to finding the relic. However, the tradition of sending the firstborn is not always followed in the recent years, and the number of Brothers is dropping steadily, especially since Ventus is sending Brothers to protect the neighboring Kingdom of Valetudo from the advancing Glacies. Many believe they should leave Valetudo on their own and worry about themselves, but the King sitting upon his mountain stretches his own people thin to protect people that are not his own.

    Geography: The main part of Ventus is a large plateau flatland, with few trees scattered about the surface. The coast line is a steep cliff with caves dotting the sides, providing little beach space. But on the west side it steadily goes down at an angle that makes is possible to reach the other kingdoms across the sea through the four small islands that form a partly overflowed bridge between two peninsulas sticking off from the north and east sides of the continent. At the very center of the plateau, nothing survives, not even trees or any slight rock for more than a moment. The winds here are the fastest and most powerful in all of Carista and would rip a smaller person to small flecks in the wind in but moments. The only people who go and survive here are members of the Brotherhood.The capitol Aeraxis is located on the very northern tip of the island, atop the only mountain in the kingdom.

    Culture: The Ventus culture is greatly based on the fact they have little access to the sea, but a great access to stone. Because most of the wildlife that lived on the plateau has been hunted to extinction in ancient times, the majority of the kingdoms are vegetarians, eating the great variety of crops grown on the miles of flatland around the towns. The most popular of food is the airstrawn stew; a mix of corn, potatoes, and peas in a beef broth, cows being one of the few animals still flourishing in this kingdom. The architecture proves how many stone quarries truly are in Ventus, with most buildings made of stone with a wood roof.

    Politics: Being one of the first kingdoms to adopt having kings and queens, they are quite used to the sole ruler life. With the capitol in such an unreachable position and members of the Ventus Brotherhood constantly at the sides of the rulers, their main focus is to keep the nation as a whole safe. Currently, the Kingdom has close relations with the kingdom of Valetudo, while in hostilities with Glacie.

    Religion: The people of Ventus generally follow Creationism.
