Welcome to Carista. We are an original fantasy roleplay forum set in the world of Carista -- a place where the eight different systems of control are divided across countries and oceans and blood. I highly recommend Skype to get a hold of me, as I only check email sporadically.

RP History:
2 years of DND 3.5 (the only good edition... loljk) and a bit of messing around on Skype with friends, nothing super serious. I am ashamed and appalled to admit that I *gasp* have no by-post RP experience. Cue boos and thrown vegetables after the post, please. As an aside, seeing as how I can't shake a person's hand over the internet, I'm horribly timid and weak by default (yay!).

Welcome to Carista, Serris!

My understanding is that as long as you don't love 4th edition, you're golden

Pretty much all the links you could need or want are on the right sidebar; there a few more in the main forums that are helpful too. Please don't hesitate to ask questions about the world, the rules, the other characters... anything, really. Ask an admin, ask another player, ask anyone you're positive is part of the site: we'd love to help.

Carista is run by Panels: the Carista Panel, Plot Panel, Review Panel and Welcome Panel. There's information on them in the sidebar as well, the basics are that no one person has a monopoly on power. Delilah is our lovely founder and head admin, but she and I bounce ideas around and double check with each other. The Review Panel is a group of folk that look over applications, the Plot Panel run the plots for particular kingdoms and the Welcome Panel welcome people. Hm.

Looking forward to playing, plotting and chatting with you C:
