Ruled by Eufenia Ilda, Health Master (NPC) Valetudo has always been valued across Carista for having the best medical treatments and facilities in the entire world. The long line of kings and queens that have descended to control this proud country have always cared more for their own nation than foreign politics, and remained out of wars and thus have no military. But now, with the oppressing presence of a Glacies invasion looming overhead, there are whispers of the kingdom requiting a military from the ranks of both former guards and young men looking to defend their homes. And, as the invasion fleet gets ever closer to raiding the shoreline of this proud nation, Queen Eufenia Ilda is considering the gruesome possibility of a loss in battle, and the once proud leader has begun to cower down from her family’s spot as ruler. Even with the great brotherhood of assassins from Ventus coming to the Queen’s aid, a victory in Valetudo’s first battle in history seems less and less possible -- unless the Relic is found and placed in their Queen's hands.  Population: 64% Health Controllers, 12% Time Controllers, 10% Ice Controllers, 7% Wind Controllers, 5% Water Controllers, 2% Assorted.
Geography: Being a mostly flat prairie, Valetudo is mainly a continental city with pockets of nature in between the districts. Some areas are nature overrun buildings, while others are majestic hospitals and displays of art. A mountain range guards the south side of the island, while a lengthy and thin wooden bridge from ages back warily hangs, connecting the mainland to its outlying island. A few ports lie on the northern coast, providing entry and trade into the beautiful land.
Culture: The culture of Valetudo is a complex one, defined by the elegance and sophistication of their society. All food is grain, pasta, and sauce based, while the buildings are carefully designed stone mansions. Being the richest kingdom because of their services, hospitals, museums, and restaurants are scattered across the landscape. Everywhere you go is sophisticated, and the arts are held highly here.
Politics: Being the smartest, and most sophisticated, kingdom in Carista, they are some of the best politicians in the world. Being esteemed for their medical skill, and having some of the most beautiful architecture, tourism in Valetudo is the biggest source of revenue. However, due to the incoming invasion, Glacies is currently on their list of public enemies.
Religion: The people of Valetudo are near split in half between Elementalism and Creationism. Both sides are very passionate.
